Dawn has been working as a dental hygienist for nine years. She loves putting in extra effort for each patient and providing creative tips for easier ways to improve oral health outcomes. Her passion is truly in making people smile and laugh, and she has seen that a healthy mouth can give the confidence to freely enjoy life’s pleasures. In her free time, Dawn enjoys playing with and training her new puppy, Hammlet. She has also been serving the profession of dental hygiene on the local, state and national level since she became a dental hygiene student.

Jennifer Gordon loves seeing crooked teeth transformed into a beautiful healthy smile. She also knows what an impact a beautiful smile can have on a person’s life. She’s worked in the dental field for 21 years, 15 of them at the office of Dr. Lawrence. She feels blessed by the opportunities that colleagues and patients at Dr. Lawrence’s office have given her to grow professionally and as a person.

Kristin has 14 years of combined experience in private banking, investments and finance. She manages the financial aspects and payroll for our team, and she is the certified Zoom whitening specialist for our office. “I am blessed and honored to work with Dr. Lawrence and the rest of his amazing team and patients here at Oakdent Smiles,” says Kristin.

When she is not working, she loves spending time with her amazing daughters, her friends and her church family. She enjoys traveling to new cities and countries, sight-seeing, stepping on new soil, taking road trips, listening to music, dancing, and doing fun exercise. “As the prayer coordinator for my church, one of my favorite things to do is to read and share inspirational devotionals and to pray for others. The best blessing for me is witnessing God answer prayers that I’ve prayed for.”

This is Mackenzie! She is 18 years old and has exceptional organization skills, an eye for detail and innovative creativity. She loves being outdoors and going on picnics with her family and friends. She also enjoys painting, skating and shopping. She is training to be a dental assistant and wants to further her career in the dental field.

Sheri Padgett has worked in the dental field for 13 years and loves it every time she gets to see a patient’s look into the mirror after having cosmetic dental work done. “They are so happy,” she says. She also finds joy in easing people’s fears when they come in for what they think will be a painful procedure. “Afterwards, they are like ‘is that it? It didn’t hurt at all.’“

Sidi has been in the dental field for over five years now! She says, “The most rewarding part of dentistry is helping people regain their confidence by optimizing their oral health and achieving their aesthetic smile goals.” As our Insurance and Billing Coordinator, her role is to assist patients in understanding and utilizing their dental benefits efficiently and obtaining the treatment they need. In her free time, Sidi enjoys being in nature, art, and adventuring and exploring.

Stephanie Luke views her work as more than a job. It’s also service, and she’s served in the dental field for 21 years. “It gives me great pleasure to know that I’ve played a part in educating people on the proper way to care for their oral and nutritional health, which will help them live longer and healthier lives,” says Stephanie.
